COACHELLA + CONCERTS

How was this my first time at Coachella?? Can't believe I've been missing out on so many great line ups. BUT now I know and will make it a goal to get back to the desert every chance I get. This year was a complete risk - thanks to B's airline job and our amazing hotel credit card points we made the trip to Palm Desert without any Coachella tickets in hand. Luckily we found someone selling VIP tickets last minute and got a great deal. I loved every second. See for me -- in 2016 one of my goals was to attend more concerts. Surprisingly enough I never see them (before this year) which is a shame because I lovvvvve music and dancing so much!!! In the beginning of 2016 I made a goal that I would put time and energy (and money) into seeing concerts.

So far I'm surpassing my goal!! I started out with seeing the legends The Who earlier this year in Boston. Then my Amiga in Chile got me Lollapalooza Chile tickets which was my first festival and got me obsessed with them. Seeing Jack ü live then straight to Emenim was so incredible mixed in with so many great artists. It gave me the itch I needed. Next was the festivals of festivals -- Coachella!! Such random line ups which is exactly what I love!! Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Børns, Jack ü (again :) Calvin Harris, Guns and Roses, Sia and Major LAZER and sooo many great more. I danced my heart out - literally someone asked me if I was on Molly. HELL No I'm sober was my reply. Just give me some great music and my dancing heart can't stop. Being in the desert at sunset with great music on blast is kinda a dream!!

this past weekend we went back to the desert and saw Aviccii live (I'm very into live DJs now) and I'm so glad we saw him. Rumor is he's retiring this year!! Can't believe it but this Thursday we are seeing JUSTIN BIEBER. I'm on fire and feeing major #blessed. My dream job would be DJing in front of hundreds of thousands souls dancing to my beats. so far I've seen 27+ concerts (performers) this year. One of my favorite things thus far about 2016!

Below are some of my festival looks. Kept it low key and simple. Traveled with only a backpack. The only way to go!!

pretty much wore my vintage $16 guess jean shorts everyday! Loved my blue off the shoulder Yumi Kim lace top, kept it easy with a black American apparel body suit and also mixed in a one piece swimsuit with a fab RD style leather fringe vest. Easy breezy off the shoulder denim dress, another must from RD style! Favorite must for Coachella- French braids! If only I knew how to do them myself!!
