I'v been sitting here now for sometime trying to find the right words to describe how amazing this backstage experience at Yazbukey PFW was… it's difficult to find the right words! Everything from the location, the Yazbukey team, the concept for hair and make up and the entire production was all memorable. I walked into probably the smallest backstage I have been to which meant it was very up close and personable which I LOVE! The MAC key artist was Romero Jennings (such a doll) he explained the inspo behind the look and show which was old hollywood glam where the old divas meet the new divas! Each model was a character and got her own special look! From light and sweet looks to bold and sexy! Sleek hair to wigs and hats! The was music for the show was playing during backstage to have the models practice their upcoming routine! At one point during rehearsal I found myself with Romero and model Anna Cleveland inside the kitchen of the space where the key artist was applying last minute touches…it was a highlight! Here we are in Paris, in an awesome small old theater, inside the kitchen with this amazing model and make up artist standing next to the kitchen staff as we were al in awww at what we were witnessing. It was also so exciting to watch the designer direct and do her thing! The entire production was unique and unlike any other backstage moment I have had! And not because I am a huge plexi glass fan…but because there was so much detail put into the presentation!! Wish you all could have been there with me to experience it!! But how great are the photos I snapped??
